Privacy policy
This policy explains which personal data Autoscuola Quiz processes, why, for how long and what your rights are. It's written for 14-year-olds too: if anything isn't clear, write to us.

Who processes your data
The data controller is Gancio LLC, 632 N 2nd St #72, Philadelphia, PA 19123, USA. For any question about your data write to privacy@gancio.xyz.
If you link to a driving school with its invite code, for the data the school sees (below) the school is an independent controller and Autoscuola Quiz processes it on the school's behalf, as a processor, under a written agreement.
Which data we process
- name and email address, which you enter or which Google gives us if you sign in with Google;
- no password: you sign in with an email link that lasts 15 minutes and can be used once;
- your confirmation that you read this policy and are at least 14, with the date;
- your answers to quizzes and simulations, with result, mistakes and date;
- the driving school you linked to, if any, and the date of your last visit;
- technical data needed to run the service: your sign-in session, with the IP address and browser type it was opened from, and the same data in the server logs;
- for customer driving schools: the admins' data, the chosen plan and billing data; card data is handled by Stripe and we never see it.
Why we use them, and on what basis
We don't profile you, we don't sell data and we show no advertising.
- to let you practise with quizzes and simulations and show you your results: the service you ask for (art. 6.1.b GDPR);
- to let the driving school you link to follow your progress and know whether you're ready for the exam: the reason you use the code (art. 6.1.b);
- to keep the service secure, prevent abuse and fix faults, with technical logs: our legitimate interest (art. 6.1.f);
- to manage driving schools' subscriptions and invoices: contract and legal obligations (art. 6.1.b and 6.1.c).
What the driving school sees
If you link with the invite code, that school's admins see your name, your email, your last visit, your simulations with their result, your mistakes by topic and your exam light colour, including activity from before you linked. They see nothing else.
Who we entrust them to
We use few suppliers, each under a data processing agreement:
- Amazon Web Services (Frankfurt data center, Germany): servers, database, backup copies and sending the emails with the sign-in links;
- Google, only if you choose to sign in with Google: it gives us your name and email, nothing else;
- Stripe, only for driving schools' payments; students never pay anything.
Transfers outside the European Union
Data and backup copies are stored in the European Union, in the Amazon Web Services data center in Frankfurt (Germany). The controller is based in the United States, and Google and Stripe may process data in the United States. For every transfer to the United States we rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, where the recipient takes part in it, or otherwise on the European Commission standard contractual clauses. You can ask us for a copy of these safeguards at the address above.
For how long
- your account and results: as long as the account exists; when you delete it, we erase them;
- backup copies: up to 30 days after deletion, then they are deleted automatically;
- your sign-in session: 30 days from last use; the email link: 15 minutes;
- server technical logs: overwritten automatically once they reach a fixed size (at most 50 MB per service), so after a time that depends on traffic;
- driving schools' billing data: for as long as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask to access your data, correct it, erase it, restrict its processing, receive it in a readable format (portability) and object to processing based on legitimate interest. You can delete your account from your profile, or write to privacy@gancio.xyz: we answer within 30 days.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it) or the authority of your country.
Minimum age
Autoscuola Quiz is for people aged at least 14, the age from which, in Italy, you can consent to online services on your own. We ask you to confirm it the first time you sign in.
Changes
If we change this policy we update the version shown at the top of the page. For significant changes we let you know by email.
